Our Origin

Orange Collar Academy was co-founded by the Bitcoin Mining Institute, LFG Mining, and Mindful Mining — three organizations that saw the same problem from different angles and decided to fix it together.

The energy and compute industries don’t have a technology problem — they have a workforce problem. Infrastructure has evolved faster than education. Power generation, grid services, digital asset mining, and high-density compute now require technicians who understand electrical systems, thermodynamics, networking, firmware, and field operations simultaneously.

Traditional trade programs weren’t built for this reality. Orange Collar Academy exists to fix that.

Develop industry-leading curriculum for Bitcoin mining, AI infrastructure, and high-performance compute — and lead the charge on upskilling workers from blue collar and white collar into orange collar.

Our goal is simple: create job-ready operators, not just graduates — and give industry a reliable way to hire skilled talent instead of hoping to find it.
